Refund policy
Refund & Returns Policy — CDMSPORT
We want you to be happy with your purchase. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. This 30-day window is more generous than your statutory rights and sits alongside them.
Return conditions
To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it — unused, unfitted, with all tags and in its original packaging. You'll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.
How to start a return
Email us at support@cdmsport.life to request a return. Once approved, we'll send you a prepaid return shipping label along with instructions. Returns sent back without first being approved cannot be accepted.
Return address: 31B Carnaman Road, Knockcloghrim, Magherafelt, BT45 8PN, United Kingdom.
Your statutory right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) and equivalent EU law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, for any reason and without justification. To do so, notify us at support@cdmsport.life within that period. Items must be returned in the condition described above. This right does not apply to goods made to order or to your specification (see "Custom & special-order parts" below).
Custom & special-order parts — non-returnable
Items that are custom-made, built, or specially ordered to your specification are non-returnable and non-refundable — including change of mind, incorrect selection, or no-longer-needed. Please double-check fitment and specification before ordering, and contact us first if you're unsure. (Your statutory rights for genuinely faulty or misdescribed goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected, and if we are ever unable to fulfil a special order we will refund it in full.)
Electronics — non-returnable
For reliability and safety reasons, electronic components (ECUs, sensors, displays, wiring, and similar) are non-returnable and non-refundable once delivered. (This does not affect your statutory rights if an electronic item arrives faulty or not as described — see Warranty and the faulty-goods section below.)
Damaged, faulty or incorrect items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, contact us at support@cdmsport.life as soon as possible so we can put it right. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of receipt for a full refund — these rights are not affected or limited by this policy.
Cancelling an order before dispatch
If your order has not yet been dispatched and does not contain custom or special-order parts, you can cancel it. Please contact us as quickly as possible at support@cdmsport.life — once an order has been dispatched, it must be handled as a return.
Non-returnable items
Gift cards, custom/special-order items, and electronics cannot be returned (except where faulty). We cannot accept returns on items that have been fitted, used, or damaged after delivery.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Refunds
Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll let you know whether your refund is approved. If approved, you'll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process it. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you haven't received your refund, contact us at support@cdmsport.life.
Warranty
Products sold by CDMSPORT are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, where one is offered. CDMSPORT does not provide a separate warranty of its own, but we will help facilitate any valid claim with the manufacturer.
- Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product. The length of cover and what it includes — including how motorsport, track, or competition use is treated — is set by each manufacturer. Some manufacturers exclude competition use; others do not. We'll point you to the relevant terms for your product.
- Professional fitment is required. Parts must be fitted by a suitably qualified professional. Proof of professional fitment may be required to support a warranty claim. Incorrect or DIY fitment may void the manufacturer's warranty.
- What warranty covers: genuine manufacturing defects. It does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accident or impact damage, improper fitment, modification, or damage from use beyond the part's intended purpose.
- Making a claim: contact us at support@cdmsport.life with your order number, a description of the fault, and proof of professional fitment. We'll guide you through the manufacturer's process.
Where an item develops a fault covered by the manufacturer's warranty, any repair, replacement, or refund is handled through the manufacturer's warranty process and is subject to the manufacturer's assessment and agreement. We will not issue a refund on a manufacturer-warranty claim unless the manufacturer authorises one. This does not affect your separate statutory right to a remedy from us under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — in particular your right to reject a faulty item within 30 days of receipt — which we will honour regardless of the manufacturer's decision.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CDMSPORT's liability for any item that is faulty, defective, or incorrectly supplied is limited to the purchase price paid for that item. We are not responsible for any additional or consequential costs, including (without limitation) fitting or removal labour, recovery or transport, loss of use, downtime, or loss of profit. Customers are responsible for checking a part's suitability and condition before fitting. Nothing in this policy excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law, and your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
