AEM IGBT Inductive Ignition Coil
This is the same ignition coil as Mototron
AEM "smart" ignition coil The type of ignition coil you use on the build when you usually run after-market ECU. When the VAG coils do not have enougt power you use this instead. The coil gives up to 103mJ and at least 40000V, which is in class with most CDI systems. This is the first type of "smart" inductive ignition coils that provide a CDI-like spark with long spark duration necessary for overcharging.

AEM?s High-Output IGBT ?Smart? Inductive Coils each deliver up to 103mJ of spark energy and a minimum of 40,000 Volts?as much as most CDI systems but without the need for a CDI module! These coils provide very long spark duration at full energy, unlike CDI systems and multiple spark systems which fire off small spark events prior to and after its CDI burst to mimic longer spark duration. The full energy delivery and long duration of AEM?s High-Output IGBT ?Smart? Inductive Coils eliminate the need to compromise energy or duration with your ignition system, and will increase performance in high-boost or high compression engines.
AEM?s High-Output IGBT ?Smart? Inductive Coils deliver CDI-like spark energy with the long duration of an inductive coil. They install easily in place of your exiting coils and do not require a CDI module. AEM?s High-Output IGBT ?Smart? Inductive Coils have a shock and weatherproof design that allows them to be mounted virtually anywhere. And at a cost less than what you would pay for aftermarket LS1 coils?they deliver World-Class performance at a bargain. AEM?s High-Output Coils are used on 2,000-horsepower nitrous motors without a CDI, and they perform flawlessly.

Ordered before 1pm, fitted this weekend.
In-stock parts ordered before 1pm are dispatched the same day. UK and Ireland typically arrive next morning, worldwide as quick as three days. Times do vary, but that can mean the part is on the car within a few days and she is back out blasting the roads by the weekend.

Send us your chassis code or your reg in the chat and we will confirm before you spend anything. If you order and it turns out to be the wrong part, we swap it.

When will it actually arrive?
In stock and ordered before 1pm, it leaves the same day. UK and Ireland is usually next day, occasionally 1 to 3 days. Europe 1 to 5 days, rest of world 3 to 5 days on express.
If something is not in stock, we will email you right away with an ETA and any available substitutes. On the rare occasion it does not work out, we will happily refund your order.
Will I get stung for customs or import VAT?
No. The price you pay on our website is what it will cost to be delivered to your door. You will not receive any surprise surcharges after ordering.
What if I change my mind?
30 days on all stock items, full refund on the parts. If you ordered the wrong thing we will help you get to the right one for as little money as possible. We have been there.
What warranty do I get?
Everything on our website is covered by the standard manufacturer's warranty.
If you ever need to claim, we fight your corner. We will do everything in our power to make sure you are looked after, rather than leaving you to argue with a manufacturer on your own.
Can I pay it off over a few months?
Yes. Klarna and Shop Pay Finance are both at checkout, so you can spread it without putting the build on hold.
