Wisefab BMW E36 V2 Drift Steering Lock / Angle Kit

The Wisefab E36 Version 2 Steering Angle Lock Kit is the ultimate drift lock kit for your BMW E36 3 series drift car.

The V2 kit now offers the ability to adjust the ackermann angle (from the knuckle add-on) and also the caster (from the top mount). These new features make adjustment convenient and handy.

The V2 kit is suitable for both standard models and M3.

Kit Details

    • Higher roll center Wisefab suspension kit brings the front roll center up on lowered cars, providing higher roll stiffness.
    • Revised steering geometry (trail and Ackermann) You could tune your steering geometry either towards positive or negative Ackermann in just a few minutes even at trackside without messing up an alignment.
    • Good camber control with high steering angles With high steering angles the leading wheel will have a positive camber, which is not a positive effect. It reduces the front grip and during turn or flip it creates a contact patch transition from inside edge to outside edge. It is not possible to eliminate it, but with our geometry it has decreased as much as possible.
    • Steering jacking control During drifting, when steering angle is much bigger, jacking is also bigger, even with the same geometry and it could become a problem. We have monitored it and changed the geometry that it doesn’t cause any handling issues.
    • Predictable self-alignment control With certain suspension geometry at high steering angles it could happen that the steering wheel is locking up at the end and driver needs to apply some force to flip it to other side. We know what causes it and have decreased it to minimum, if not eliminated it.
    • Adjustable lock-stopper.

  • Stronger inner ball joint design over OEM and older Wisefab version.
Kit includes:
    • Adjustable coilover top mounts, Formula Drift compliant.
    • Hub add-ons with Ackermann adjustment hardware.
    • Lightweight lower control arms.
    • Assembeled tie rods.
    • Adjustable lower control arm rear mount.

 

Other components, packaging and clearance.
    • This kit assumes coilovers to have enough clearance.
    • We recommend tire diameter not bigger than 645mm (235/40 R18).
    • Wider fenders or fender flares needed with this kit.

How do I know it will fit my car?

Send us your chassis code or your reg in the chat and we will confirm before you spend anything. If you order and it turns out to be the wrong part, we swap it.

When will it actually arrive?

In stock and ordered before 1pm, it leaves the same day. UK and Ireland is usually next day, occasionally 1 to 3 days. Europe 1 to 5 days, rest of world 3 to 5 days on express.

If something is not in stock, we will email you right away with an ETA and any available substitutes. On the rare occasion it does not work out, we will happily refund your order.

Will I get stung for customs or import VAT?

No. The price you pay on our website is what it will cost to be delivered to your door. You will not receive any surprise surcharges after ordering.

What if I change my mind?

30 days on all stock items, full refund on the parts. If you ordered the wrong thing we will help you get to the right one for as little money as possible. We have been there.

What warranty do I get?

Everything on our website is covered by the standard manufacturer's warranty.

If you ever need to claim, we fight your corner. We will do everything in our power to make sure you are looked after, rather than leaving you to argue with a manufacturer on your own.

Can I pay it off over a few months?

Yes. Klarna and Shop Pay Finance are both at checkout, so you can spread it without putting the build on hold.

Can I just ask someone what to buy?
