Hurricane Motorsport Dry Flow Air Filter 2.5" (63mm)
Twin filter cone performance air filter for motorsport and racing where flow and power are prioritized. Most flow per cm2 filter area in the class!
Model:
Twin filtercone air filter with 8 layer without oil.
Connection: 63mm (2.5")
Total length: 187mm
Power range:
Around 800hp but completely dependent on other engine components. This filter provides the most flow / power per cm2 of filter area in its class.
Construction:
Filter material that is built up in layers with a steel skeleton that gives the air filter stability to withstand surge and pressure shocks in the best possible way.
Mounting:
Mounted so fresh air easily reaches the filter surface. Mounted protected from the engine's heat radiation as the intake temperature affect engine performance ina negative way. Also keep the filter protected from water, dirt and heat radiation for the best possible life span.
Cleaning:
1. Fill a bucket with water and filter cleaner / soap
2. Dip the filter into the water and spin around
3. Pick up the filter and allow to drain and air dry
Maintenance:
Hurricane motorsport air filter is very wear resistant but must still be handled carefully to maintain maximum power and flow.

Used mainly in motorsport up to about 1000hp for maximum flow.

Used mainly in motorsport up to about 1500hp for maximum flow.
# Eight layer dryflow air filter 187mm long
Used both in motorsport and for tuned street cars and enthusiast cars up to about 800hp for you who want the best filtration but with a little less flow than the four layer filters.
