Full details

Mishimoto Subaru Forester XT Racing Thermostat (2014+)

Key Features

  • Direct fit for the 2014+ Subaru Forester XT
  • Lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, maintaining lower temperatures (Mishimoto thermostat activates at 165.2°F vs. stock 190.4°F)
  • Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty
The Mishimoto racing thermostat for the 2014+ Subaru Forester XT will promote greater cooling efficiency in your stock or modified FA20DIT. Once the engine is fully warmed up, the Mishimoto racing thermostat will open at a lower temperature than standard thermostats. This allows coolant to flow through the engine sooner, which reduces and maintains cooler engine temperatures. The Mishimoto Forester XT racing thermostat is the perfect addition to your street or track Forester XT and is a direct replacement for the stock thermostat. As with all our products, this thermostat includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Who you are buying from

You are buying from a drift team, not a warehouse.

Our founder competes himself in his own drift E46. Our team build and race the same platforms you drive and work on, and our sponsored drivers chase championships on the same parts we sell worldwide.

01

We have already broken it for you.

Our founder, a full team of sponsored drivers, and hundreds of other drivers worldwide are out competing on this stuff in drift and rally. When we tell you a part is good, the part is good. It has already been put to the test.

“After trying a few better known brands such as Tilton and Extreme, and never being super happy... Conor was able to recommend me the perfect clutch for my application... I havn't broken any drivetrain parts since I installed it.”

Connell O'Kane, 2JZ drift car, 27 Jul 2024

02

Tell us the car. We will spec it.

Chassis codes, spring rates, angle kit clearances, clutch ratings. Send us the car and what you want it to do. The answer comes from someone who has run that setup, not someone reading a product sheet.

“Conor is a top man very helpful and always replies to any questions you have about his products.”

Ordered before 1pm, fitted this weekend.

In-stock parts ordered before 1pm are dispatched the same day. UK and Ireland typically arrive next morning, worldwide as quick as three days. Times do vary, but that can mean the part is on the car within a few days and she is back out blasting the roads by the weekend.

04

The price you see is the price you pay.

Duty and taxes are pre-paid, so there is no customs bill waiting at your door. What the checkout says is what it costs, wherever you are.

Verified customer

“CDM is a shop that does international shipping swiftly, with clear communication along the way. The part(s) also arrived unscathed, properly packaged, and as described.”

Straight answers

The questions you were about to open a chat about.

How do I know it will fit my car?

Send us your chassis code or your reg in the chat and we will confirm before you spend anything. If you order and it turns out to be the wrong part, we swap it.

“Had a mix up with the item description (order wrong part) they was quick to email me and see what part I was meant to order and substituted it for no extra cost!”
Bradley Page, verified customer, 31 Jan 2025

When will it actually arrive?

In stock and ordered before 1pm, it leaves the same day. UK and Ireland is usually next day, occasionally 1 to 3 days. Europe 1 to 5 days, rest of world 3 to 5 days on express.

If something is not in stock, we will email you right away with an ETA and any available substitutes. On the rare occasion it does not work out, we will happily refund your order.

Will I get stung for customs or import VAT?

No. The price you pay on our website is what it will cost to be delivered to your door. You will not receive any surprise surcharges after ordering.

What if I change my mind?

30 days on all stock items, full refund on the parts. If you ordered the wrong thing we will help you get to the right one for as little money as possible. We have been there.

What warranty do I get?

Everything on our website is covered by the standard manufacturer's warranty.

If you ever need to claim, we fight your corner. We will do everything in our power to make sure you are looked after, rather than leaving you to argue with a manufacturer on your own.

Can I pay it off over a few months?

Yes. Klarna and Shop Pay Finance are both at checkout, so you can spread it without putting the build on hold.

Can I just ask someone what to buy?

That is the bit we are actually good at. We run our own race team and workshop, so you are talking to someone who has fitted it, broken it, and fitted it again. Hit the chat and tell us what the car is doing and what you want it to do.
