Whether you have a rally-inspired WRX or a built STI, maintaining ideal oil temperatures is necessary for both optimal performance and engine longevity. Treat your flat-four to a dose of reliability with the Mishimoto Subaru WRX/STI Direct-Fit Oil Cooler Kit. This kit includes precision-engineered, application-specific mounting brackets, premade stainless steel braided oil lines, a billet oil sandwich plate, an efficient 10-row stacked-plate Mishimoto oil cooler, and all necessary hardware.

This kit provides .5 qt of additional oil capacity and reduces temperatures by more than 20°F (16°C) while providing minimal pressure loss. This kit is available with the Mishimoto standard Oil Sandwich Plate or the Mishimoto Oil Sandwich Plate with Rear-Mounted Thermostat for additional oil temperature control and optimal performance in any environment. For additional customization, this kit is available with your choice of either a Sleek Silver or Stealth Black cooler.

This kit is the perfect complement to the Mishimoto Subaru WRX/STI Performance aluminium Radiator, Performance aluminium Fan Shroud Kit, and Silicone Radiator Hose Kit for the ultimate cooling solution for your Subaru. As with all our products, this kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Please note: Mishimoto fully inspects and cleans all products prior to packaging. However, it is recommended that customers flush the oil cooler with one quart of clean oil prior to installation to remove any debris accumulated during shipping. Installation Notes Recommended torque specification for all straight fittings and banjo bolts: 15-25 lb-ftDo not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 ft-lb
Caution It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to assure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends that you check all connections at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.
Note Requires trimming of exhaust heat shield for proper installation. Will not fit on vehicles equipped with front mount intercoolers. Fits automatic and manual applications.
